2017 Form I-9 Information

I-9 violations can be costly for employers

After January 21, 2017 all previous versions of the Form I-9 will be invalid. The changes are specifically designed to help employers reduce technical errors for which they may be fined. Employers may continue using the current version of Form I-9 with a revision date of 03/08/2013 until January 21, 2017 then use Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I-9) – issue date 11-14-2016.
