Ardon has 39 years of professional HR experience, including 7 years establishing and operating HumancO Resources, before the company was acquired by Varnum Law to establish Varnum Consulting. At Varnum Consulting, he served as the Executive Director of the HR practice group until 2007. Prior to forming HumancO, he worked for world class companies including General Telephone, Bell & Howell and Steelcase, where he was the Director of Compensation, Benefits and International Human Resources.
Ardon has served on a variety of local and state level committees and boards associated with Human Resources issues. He has also held director and officer positions for a number of profits and not for profit organizations.

MaryAnn has over 25 years of Human Resource administration and technical experience with a major Grand Rapids employer. Bill has over 37 years experience in law enforcement, criminal investigation and corporate security management. During his career with the City of Walker, Michigan Police Department he conducted numerous investigations from homicide to petty theft. He was promoted and supervised the detective bureau and later went on to become Deputy Chief of the Department during which time he was responsible for policy development and department training. Bill retired from police work in 1995.
For the past 14 years Bill has owned and operated Security Consultations, Inc. providing a variety of security management services to West Michigan businesses. He is a Licensed Private Investigator in the State of Michigan and specializes in the areas of employment background screening, security awareness and violence prevention training, and security vulnerability assessment. Bill is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command and has completed numerous training programs related to law enforcement and security management. He is also a member of the American Society for Industrial Security.

Spanning a period of more than 25 years, Libby has become one of Michigan’s foremost specialists in Workers Compensation and Integrated Disability Management. She was responsible for developing a nationally recognized program during her principal career at Steelcase Inc. Her responsibilities included managing claims administrators and medical personnel as well as integrating the services of various vendors to reduce costs and improve employee relations.
Libby’s recognition as an expert at the state level and her knowledge of the regulations provided her frequent interaction with senior level State of Michigan regulators. She has become an instructor at Michigan State University and held various leadership positions on state associations focused self-insured organizations throughout Michigan. Libby’s understanding of the regulatory environment has allowed her to be involved in selection of Magistrates at the State level.
Libby continues to be involved in a wide variety of organizations through her roles in consulting and her Presidential appointment at the federal level to the “Ticket-to-Work” panel.

Jack has an extensive human resources background extending over 40 years with primary involvement as Personnel Director at numerous General Motors facilities with 3,000 to 5,000 employees. In this capacity Jack managed negotiations of union contracts, training programs, employee relations and policy administration for salaried employees, as well as extensive recruiting activities.
Jack’s involvement with outsourcing of services and downsizing prepared him for subsequent roles in the G.A. Burns Outplacement firm and at Alticor as a Career Transition Consultant. His consulting role has expanded over the last eight years to various projects with local and regional businesses which also include Outsourced Human resource services and Executive Recruiting matters. Although Jack has worked for larger companies during most of his career, his style and experience in the consulting role supports a practical approach to problem resolution and a very effective interface on employee relations and recruiting.

Tom has 40 years of Human Resources and executive management experience with domestic and international companies. While with General Motors he was part of local and national management teams involved with union negotiations. A specialty was multi-state Workers' and Unemployment Compensation funding and self-administration. As Director of Benefits, Compensation & Safety for Amway Corporation, a principal focus was high value/low cost benefit & compensation plans from design to administration.
As senior consultant with Varnum Consulting, Tom served as CEO, General Manager and Director of HR for clients in various industries, as part of an outsourced Interim Executive Management program. In addition, he has also been an instructor for the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist program offered through Western Michigan University.

Jim has an extensive background in Human Resource management in both the private and public sectors. He was the Director of Human Resources for Spartan Stores, Inc. and Director of Administrative Services for the City of Wyoming. He started his career in training and safety management with Baker Furniture Company. His responsibilities as Director of Administrative Services for a municipality included Human Resources, as well as management over Finance, Information Technology, and Purchasing. He served on the Board of Directors and was Board Chair for the Michigan Municipal Risk Management Authority. He was an adjunct instructor for Davenport University.
Jim has expertise in all areas of Human Resources including recruiting and selection, employee relations, collective bargaining (chief spokesperson), risk management, compensation and benefits, and training and development. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University and Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Western Michigan University.

Don has 38 years experience in human resources and operations leadership. His background includes 30 years in private sector manufacturing organizations including 18 years as VP Human Resources for Sligh Furniture Co. Positions of operations responsibility eventually lead to VP of Operations. In the 8 years prior to joining P3HR, Don served in the public sector as Human Resources Director for Kent County, with responsibility for nearly 2000 employees and 13 collective bargaining units.
Throughout his career Don has been committed to supporting participative leadership and professional development with in-depth experience in strategic & operational planning, employee & labor relations, compensation & benefits plan design. Recognition of Don's skills and experience allowed him to serve as President of both the Scanlon Leadership Network and the HR Division of the American Furniture Manufacturer’s Assoc.
